Good News #5: I got a new tattoo today!

I always wanted something celtic, but when you look at celtic tattoos most are either crosses or (arm) bands.. and well I already have a cross and arm bands are pretty masculine. I mean why would I wanna draw attention to my "teacher arms" (as my friend Leo says). The spot on the underside of your upper arm- almost all females have some jiggle there- most teachers do and your can really see it when they write on the board.
So while out on Long Island I came across this ring that I really like from a little Irish table at the Strawberry festival. I picked it up, and after a couple weeks of wearing it I thought, "this would look awesome as a tattoo."
I definitely wanted something on the top of foot, I was going to do flowers, but then I decided to do the cross with the flowers on my side instead. So since this is a little design, I figured the foot would be perfect!
Good News #6: We figured out the secret with Parker! Parker was giving us trouble when we would take him out, since the yard has no fence we have to use a leash to take him out. Well he does not like that idea. When he would get outside he would lay down and decide not to move, we had to literally drag him around the yard. And even after dragging him, he would not "do his business." Well yesterday my mom took him out with our dog Sahara- sure enough as soon as she peed, he peed, as soon as she pooped, he pooped. It's the weirdest thing! So now that we know how to get him out and walking around he is a much better pup! Before he had to send a lot of time in the crate because he wouldn't "go" outside, and did not want any accidents in the house. Now since he "goes" outside, he can lay anywhere.. like on the bed with me now :)
Good News #7: Yesterday was my first day at my third job, which is babysitting (job 1: Rita's, job 2: Senior Helpers... even though SH only counts as half a job because I have no hours right now). I was so nervous and afraid the girl would be such a brat (the family is from a "well-off" town next to mine, in which also a New Jersey housewife lives in). But the girl is far from it, she is very nice, as well as her parents. On mondays, tuesdays, and thursdays I have to pick her up at summer camp, bring her home, give her dinner, and wait until her parents get home from work (they work in NYC so they have a ton of commuter traffic). Yesterday we talked a bit so I could get to know her better (age, school year, likes, dislikes) and then while I got dinner ready she played build-a-bear on wii. More to update after a couple of days!
